Begin with the receiving operation

A quote should connect the ingredient requirement to a real delivery destination. Explain your receiving location, storage needs, unloading equipment, and scheduling constraints before discussing an offer.

Bulk grain, vegetable oil, and bagged dairy powder have different handling needs. Ask the broker to confirm the proposed transport and packaging arrangement for the specific product.

Clarify the delivery basis

Review whether freight is included, where responsibility changes, and what arrangements remain outside the quoted price. Keep delivery terms with the product quote so buyers can compare offers consistently.

For recurring shipments, agree how dates are scheduled and how changes are handled. Explain whether your dates are fixed production requirements or flexible planning targets.

Confirm before accepting

Review the product specification, quantity, transport arrangement, destination, arrival window, and required documents in writing. Resolve receiving questions before treating the offer as ready to order.

Use the Bulk Ag Exchange form to record these details at the start. Your request gives the platform team and the assigned broker context for productive follow-up.
